Rev. Chris Anama-Green, Msc.D.

Chris Anama-Green applies New Thought metaphysical principles to cultivate compassion and to practice lovingkindness. In addition to his metaphysical studies, he has conducted original research on how classroom teachers use mindfulness in education.
As an avid traveler and language enthusiast, Chris enjoys meeting new people and learning about the spiritual traditions of folks from many backgrounds and cultures. A language teacher by training, he believes learning another language is a powerful way to develop intercultural understanding that cultivates compassion and kindness.

Chris is also a published author. His first children’s book, Mikao’s Journey: The Story of Reiki, was released in 2017. Some of his other titles include Mastering Peace, which is a mindfulness guide, and Usui Reiki II, which is an instructional guide for Reiki students. He is also the author of Command Line BASIC, a computer programming how-to guide, and Dive Into Spanish, an introductory language text.
In addition to his metaphysical degrees from the University of Metaphysics, Chris is an ordained metaphysical minister, having received his ordination and practitioner diploma from the International Metaphysical Ministry University Seminary. He has an undergraduate degree in biology and Spanish, master’s degrees in health and education, and a doctorate in educational leadership. He lives and works in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains with his spouse and many pets.
