Bella Donna, B.Msc.
Bella Donna has been working as a Holistic Healthcare Practitioner since 2002. She is a graduate of SWIHA (South West Institute of Healing Arts) in Tempe, Arizona, with training and a license as an OBT (Oriental Bodywork Therapist). During this time period she also incorporated studies, experiences, and certifications in aromatherapy, reflexology, nutritional coaching, life coaching, and Reiki. She also earned her Bachelor of Metaphysical Science, B.Msc., from the University of Metaphysics, and is an ordained metaphysical minister, having received her ordination and practitioner diploma from the International Metaphysical Ministry University Seminary in Sedona, Arizona.
Since childhood, Bella was encouraged by her great grandfather to grow a garden and use the plants as medicine. All her life she has been a gardener, herbalist, and forager, and she was one of the original students of Rosemary Gladstar’s Herbal Studies program decades and decades ago.
With a lifetime of experience and training in natural healing, Bella continues to incorporate her gifts into her work to help others find their best being–physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Bella’s additional background in computer science coupled with her intuitive abilities gives her an understanding in utilizing state-of-the-art technologies in her healing work. She is now able to offer scientific methods to imbalances, disruptions, and illnesses, coupled with intuitive guidance to bring about as much healing as a person truly desires. She has used herself as a human science lab and experiment with many aspects of sickness, health, and wellness––all to help others be healthier and, thus, happier. There is not much Bella can’t relate to when working with her clients and helping them come to understand the nature or root of their ailments, be they acute and simple, or longtime chronic issues.
Along with Bella’s holistic healthcare practice, she has been a beekeeper since 2008, incorporating “apitherapy,” the use of bees and their products for health and healings, into her work. She is truly an advocate for natural healing, for saving the bees and the planet, and an example and inspiration to many. She currently writes monthly newsletters and articles for Kelley Beekeeping, stressing the importance of natural beekeeping, which few beekeepers in the world actually practice.
Bella has written and published two books over the years, Herbal Studies: Integrating Herbs Into Your Life, a compilation of her workshop teaching handouts, and Herbs, Health, and Healing, an informational book on common healing herbs, along with healthy and wholesome recipes. She is currently working on her third book, Connecting Mind and Body Through Sickness and Health. She anticipates this book will help others see the mind-body connections to their health, as also presented by Louise Hay, Dr. Bruce Lipton, and many others.
