Dr. Josephine Joy Maestas, Msc.D.
Rev. Dr. Joy has been on a spiritual journey most of her life. Retiring in Arizona and starting a new career in the Wedding Officiating business in 2011, she has officiated hundreds of ceremonies. She is a favorite of local celebrities and ranked #1 most referred Officiant by Google in 2023. Trying always to be positive and joyful led her to the Metaphysical teachings of Dr. Paul Leon Masters.
Rev. Dr. Joy received her Doctorate of Metaphysical Science from the University of Metaphysics in Sedona, Arizona, and received her ordination and practitioner diploma from the International Metaphysical Ministry University Seminary in May of 2020
She started her Online Ministry, “ Universal Light Ministry,” to help people find the light within themselves. “I also want people to know I do all the things other ministers do without a brick-and-mortar building.” She has a varied background in customer service, advertising, insurance, and legal secretary skills. She has already co-produced two books, a DIY Wedding and Reception Planning Workbook and a DIY Wedding Guide with her son, who is also ordained.
On her own, she has written and published the New Ministers Handbook for the 21st Century, A Joyful Buddha (her 1st children’s book), The Archangels Light, The Archangel Prince, and now The Spiral to Jacobs Ladder are life lessons taken from her thesis. She has more books planned on Metaphysical Spirituality. Her many certificates include Angel Card Reading, Realm Reading, Angelic Life Coaching, Hypnotherapy, Crystal Healing Practitioner, Mentoring, NLP Practitioner, and Intuitive Tarot Reading. Her articles have been published in “The Journal of Metaphysical Thought and Awareness Magazine.”
